Where is Brandywine Falls

Tucked away at the edge of the Sea to Sky highway you will find the entrance to Brandywine Provincial Park. It is a short 0.5 mile walk to the view point for the falls and there is plenty of parking available which is completely free!

Brandywine Falls Lookout Walk

Time: It will take 30-40 minutes to complete depending on time spent observing the environment

Distance: 1.5 km return

Fees: No fees or passes are required

Getting There: The entrance to the Brandywine Provincial Park is located right off the Sea to Sky Highway. 1 hour 20 minutes drive north from Vancouver or a 15 minute drive south from Whistler.

Parking: There is plenty of parking at the trail head, but bear in mind that it is a very popular spot on the Sea to Sky highway so arriving early in the day or later in the afternoon increases your chances of getting a spot.

Accessibility: There are a few accessible car parking spots available and also a drop off area in the car park. The path is compacted dirt and gravel with some areas being around 2m wide. It is suitable for most wheelchair users but please be aware there are a few slopes and it is bumpy in sections.

Once you pass the lookout point for the falls, there is a little bit more of the path for you to explore. It doesn’t take long until you reach the end and it opens up to a gorgeous view of the surrounding landscape.

The lake you can see in the distance is the end of Daisy Lake, a reservoir on the Cheakamus river. The Daisy Lake dam was created in 1957 which merged the previously natural Daisy Lake and Shadow Lake.

Keep your eyes to the sky for any birds of prey, I always have my binoculars with me just in case!
